چکیده

Introduction: While dynamic imaging reveals vital functional information, such acquisitions often suffer from low SNR and low temporal resolution. The sliding window algorithm is a basic acceleration method. It is used almost exlusively in clinical practice due to its simplicity and ubiquity, despite the crude rectangular window. Previous works such as UNFOLD[1], TSENSE[2] and k-t BLAST[3] report improved results. However they are computationally much more demanding and/or they work better on a Cartesian grid, thereby not taking advantage of the more desirable flow and motion characteristics of various nonCartesian trajectories. In this work, we present a fast and causal reconstruction algorithm for dynamic MRI with arbitrary readout trajectories, together with its window interpretation.

Numerical investigation of nonlinear, spatially-varying pulsed magnetic fields

Introduction Curved spatially-varying magnetic fields have a strong impact on MRI, especially in the context of correcting magnetic field inhomogeneities (shimming) [1]. Conventional methods are well established, but new progress from hardware and sequence development intends to overcome certain limitations, e.g. by the use of higher-order shim coils or the application of spatially-selective dy...

Quantitative Analysis of Dynamic Contrast-Enhanced and Diffusion-Weighted Magnetic Resonance Imaging for Oncology in R

The package dcemriS4 provides a complete set of data analysis tools for the quantitative assessment of dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI. Image processing is provided for the ANALYZE and NIfTI data formats as inputs with all parameter estimates being output in NIfTI format. Estimation of T1 relaxation from multiple flip-angle acquisitions, using either constant or spatially-varying flip angles, is ...

Scale-Dependent Dynamic Behavior of Nanowire-Based Sensor in Accelerating Field

The accelerating fields (e. g. centrifugal acceleration and constant acceleration) can change the physical performance of nano-sensors significantly. Herein, a new size-dependent model is developed to investigate the scale-dependent dynamic behavior of nanowire-fabricated sensor operated in an accelerating field. The scale-dependent equation of motion is developed by employing a consolidation o...

Design and Implementation of a Kalman Filter-Based Time-Varying Harmonics Analyzer

Nowadays with increasing use of numerous nonlinear loads, voltage and current harmonics in power systems are one of the most important problems power engineers encounter. Many of these nonlinear loads, because of their dynamic natures, inject time-varying harmonics into power system. Common techniques applied for harmonics measurement and assessment such as FFT have significant errors in presen...
